I went out to the cinema to see 'Paul' yesterday, which was surprisingly good! I'm not usually into blatant CGI and talking creatures unless it's a creepy, low key kind of film. Alright, so I love 'Alien vs. Predator', but how believable do those monsters look?! You can't fault Giger's design work and I'm pretty sure Stan Winston Studios were responsible for the creature effects themselves and those guys are miracle workers. Anyway, I'm getting way off subject, aren't I?
EYES - UDPP, FPE, Darling Girl 'Ginger', MAC 'Melon', Urban Decay 'Baked', Urban Decay 'Smog', Kryolan liquid eyeliner, mascara.
FACE - Shu Uemura Under Base Mousse, Kryolan Ultra Foundation, Collection 2000 Matt + Minerals Foundation, Kryolan powder, Shu Uemura 'Matt Peach'
LIPS - MAC 'Honeylove' lipstick, Taxi London 'Mile End' gloss
Gold topped with gold, topped with more gold - that's what I like to see! I'm already dreading my 'Honeylove' running out...I've still got about 1/3 of it left, somehow though. Yes, MAC lipsticks are pricey but they last forever.
Anyone seen else 'Paul'? What are your favourite films for CGI/ creature effects?
