REVIEW - Maybelline Falsies 'Black Drama' Mascara

REVIEW - Maybelline Falsies 'Black Drama' Mascara

Being a huuuge fan of the original Maybelline's original Falsies mascara, it made perfect sense to me to pick up the Falsies 'Black Drama' whilst in Boots last week. I've always loved dramatic lashes - the darker, longer and thicker, the better!

The brush is curved which means that it fits to lashes perfectly, reaching the inner and outer lashes with no problem. Some people have issues with these 'spoon' brushes, since you have to be a touch more careful with them than regular brushes and I do admit that you have to try them a few times before you get the hang of them. It's worth it though - I've been repurchasing The Falsies mascara for so long that now regular brushes seem odd to me!

I confess that I like a bit of clump (yeah, so shoot me) so I usually layer it on fairly thick! However, clumping can be prevented by using only one coat and blinking onto the wand, rather than pushing the wand against the lashes. Maybelline Falsies 'Black Drama' mascara gives my lashes a deep, matte black finish, making my lashes look thicker, longer, and more curved. Plus, my lashes stay looking exactly like that until I wash the mascara away - not flaking, smudging or fading!

I would call Maybelline Falsies 'Black Drama' mascara more of a 'night out' mascara than an everyday mascara for most - but, if like me, you like your lashes thick, dark and a little clumpy - it's definitely worth a shot.

Maybelline Falsies 'Black Drama' is currently on offer at Boots and Superdrug for £6.19 each.
