Bright and Beautiful Blush!

Bright and Beautiful Blush!

I've always found that once I add colour to my hair, I feel the need to even it out by adding brighter colours to my face! Since dying it pinky-purple, these blush colours have been making their way out of my 'face products' drawer more and more frequently...

Topshop Cream blush, Darling Girl cream blush and Ben Nye pressed colours. I'm a big fan of cream blush and love the slightly moussey texture of Topshops, which are a true bargain at £6 each! The Darling Girl cream blush is quite oily, and therefore almost glossy in texture - although it does sink into foundation well. Ben Nye pressed colours are super pigmented, though the red and hot pink aren't *as* scary when applied with a light hand as they are in the pan!

[[ Clockwise from Top: Ben Nye 'Cerise Red', Ben Nye unknown colour, Ben Nye 'Fuchsia', Topshop 'Neon Rose', Topshop 'Crushed Berry', Darling Girl 'Impetuous' ]]

See? They aren't so scary blended out, are they?! I wore 'Fuchsia' yesterday paired with NEON PINK lips (thanks, OCC 'Anime') and it looked awesome, if a little...wild. Bright blushes are perfect for Spring/ Summer with light eye make-up and a glossy lip, so why not try them out? The moral of this story is - don't let bright blushers intimidate you! They're real softies at heart ;)

What are your favourite bright blush colours? Which sort of blush colours do you wear everyday?

(P.S) Sorry about the 'unknown colour'. It's unknown because Ben Nye's packaging is weaker than weak - I dropped the palette on the floor, pans flew everywhere and when I popped them back in they no longer corresponded with the colours on the lid -_-
